SeyferthPR Adds Four New Team Members GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Feb. 3, 2016 – SeyferthPR announced the addition of four new account team members to round out the firm’s growth in media relations and brand reputation management. The firm has hired Kinsey Parker as assistant account executive, Natasha Alvarez as account coordinator, Charlotte Murphy as staff assistant and Sydney DeVos as project coordinator. “We’re thrilled to have the opportunity to attract great talent to our firm and to Michigan,” said Ginny Seyferth, APR, President. “Each brings a different level of skills to our clients and the region we serve.” Parker joins the firm from Alabama, where she had experience in community relations, event planning and nonprofit communications. She’s an Auburn University graduate with work experience at the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Hunger Solutions Institute, Wake Up Coffee Company and Auburn Wesley Foundation. Alvarez, originally from Chicago, initially interned at SeyferthPR. Her experience in social media and coordinating consumer engagement events spans throughout many communities in Michigan. Natasha has a strong background in community engagement in both Chicago and Grand Rapids, where she’s volunteered for the Helen DeVos Dance Marathon, Relay for Life, Young Life and Bethany Christian Services. Alvarez is a Hope College graduate. Murphy, also from Chicago, has communications, social media and event planning work experience, including for The Magnificent Mile Association in Chicago and The Runner’s Soul, located in Elmhurst, Ill. An Elmhurst College graduate, she has volunteered for a number of organizations, including the Chicago Marathon, Chicago Knights of Columbus as well as serving as a volunteer basketball coach for elementary school students. DeVos, who previously worked at SeyferthPR, returns with a diverse experience in managing various social media platforms, website creation and event planning for The Island School in Eleuthera, Bahamas and DP Fox Ventures in Grand Rapids.
